Storm Panels

Storm panels are one of the least expensive of all the approved hurricane protection systems available. These panels are available in steel, aluminum and clear Lexan. Panels attach to the walls and floors around windows and doors with bolts or tracks or a combination of both. Tracks, if required, can also be attached as removable for safety and appearance. The panels are stored until needed and require no special tools to install. Combining clear Lexan panels with steel or aluminum panels will allow light to enter your room and help avoid the feeling of being boarded up.

Fabric Shield

Storm panels made from PVC coated fabric that has been tested to withstand hurricane force winds and flying debris. Light, flexible and easy to install make this product one of the most popular options for hurricane protection. Fabric shield can be installed on odd shapes and around curves making it one of the most versatile of the panel choices. Storage is quick and easy, just roll them up and slide them in, under or around anything in the garage or any other room in the house.

Accordion Shutters

This type of hurricane shutter is stored in place on either side of an opening. Accordion shutters can be operated from either the inside or outside. The shutter is permanently attached to tracks above and below the opening. The aluminum blades and tracks are available in a variety of colors white, bronze, tan, beige and a clear Lexan blade is also an option. Accordion shutters can cover the largest openings with ease and will work on curves and bay angles as well.

Colonial and Bahama Shutters

These extruded louvered shutters are permanently attached above or on the side of the window opening. The Colonial style gives the appearance of a decorative shutter and unfolds across the opening when needed for protection. The Bahama shutter gives the decorative look of the islands, attaching above the window opening and affording shade year round while doubling as hurricane protection when released down to lay flat over the window for protection. Both types are offered in a rainbow of decorator colors to compliment any décor.
